Roy PTA Carnival Tickets on Sale Now!

Welcome back to school! The PTA carnival is coming on Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 1. We will be pre-selling tickets starting August 26- September 1, before and after school. Cost will be 5/$1.00. If you purchase tickets the day of the carnival, the ticket price will be 4/$1.00
So get your tickets today, and SEE YOU THERE!

Here are some of the activities and ticket prices:

RIDES

Rock climbing wall- 6 tickets
Dunk tank- 5 tickets
Giant slide- 5 tickets
Bounce house- 3 tickets
Children's train ride- 8 tickets


GAMES

Baseball throw- 4 tickets
Harmon's cake walk- 3 tickets
Fish pond- 2 tickets
Guessing game- 2 tickets
Face painting, hair coloring, and tattoos- 2 tickets
Balloons- 1 ticket

FOOD

Hot dogs- $2 or 8 tickets
Chips- $1 or 4 tickets
Drinks- $1.50 or 6 tickets
Nachos- $2.50 or 10 tickets
Hot dog combo meal (hot dog, chips, and a drink)- $4.00 or 16 tickets
Nacho combo meal (nachos and a drink)- $3.75 or 15 tickets
Popcorn- $1.00 or 4 tickets
Cotton candy- $1.00 or 4 tickets
Treats- $.50-$1.50 or 2-6 tickets

*We will be accepting cash and tickets for food this year.*

BOOTH RENTAL- $20 (See school office for details.)

-New school t-shirts and hoodies will be for sale.
-PTA membership dues for $7.00
-If you join the PTA you will receive a discount on t-shirts and hoodies, and your name will be placed in a drawing for a REALLY COOL PRIZE!!!

If you join the PTA at the carnival your name will be entered into a drawing and you can win a REALLY GREAT PRIZE!

Joining the PTA does not mean that you have to volunteer with activities or even come to our meetings (even though we would LOVE to have you). Your $7.00 helps pay for your child's field trips, classroom incentives, awards and recognition, Halloween parties, Valentine's Day parties, Christmas parties, Dr. Seuss Day, Reflections Contest, Birthday table, and much much more

All but $.50 cents or your $7.00 stays right here at Roy Elementary School. The $.50 that does not stay at our school goes to fund our local PTA council.

We would love to have your support and if you are interested in volunteering with the PTA, we will make it worth your time.

Volunteers don't necessarily have the time, they just have the heart! :)

Halloween Carnival

The Halloween Carnival will be held Wednesday October 21 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. There will be food, vendor booths, costume contests, candy, popcorn, and more! Buy your tickets 5 for $1 before Tuesday the 20th. After Tuesday the price will be 4 for $1. Don't miss out, come support our PTA and benefit the kids at Roy Elementary!

Harmons PTA Day, Book Fair, PTA Positions Available

Thanks for all of your support on Harmons PTA day! Our school won the contest for the most receipts collected! This will help in our profit from Harmons day. It was great to see the response from volunteers. We all had a great time!

Our book fair will run this week 2/23-2/27 before and after school. Come visit after your parent-teacher conference. We have a great selection of books to choose from!


It's that time again to start looking for next years board members! It's a great opportunity to get involved at the school and with your children. Positions are; President, President elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, Harmons Day Coordinator, Carnival Coordinator, Room Parent Coordinator, Volunteer Hour Coordinator, Reflections Coordinator. Plastic Bag Recycling (Fundraiser)

Please encourage students and others to recycle their plastic bags. Bring them to room 33 (for now) and put them by the counter. For every 60 gallon filled collection bag we fill the school gets $5.00. So let's do it to earn money for our school, and help kids understand the value of recycling plastic.
